The Championship is an end of season highlight of the Great Britain and Ireland amateur golfing calendar, which has seen many current and recent Ryder Cup stars represent their countries, including Luke Donald, David Howell, Darren Clarke, Nick Faldo, Sandy Lyle and Ian Woosnam.

 

The spectacular Pyle & Kenfig course played host to this year’s contest, which was battled out between teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Scotland defended their title in great style beating England on the final day to clinch the Triple Crown.
